記憶を失った少年・カイトは、本屋を経営しているおばあさんに引き取られ、暮らしていた。ある日、国家の傭兵団「修羅」の不条理な行動により店を燃やされ、修羅に抵抗したカイトは、意図せず阿修羅の力を発揮する。その後、修羅に追われる身となったカイトは、村を離れ、自分の正体を知る為、また修羅への復讐の為、旅に出る!
